     Anna has been teaching yoga for over 15 years. She continues to discover her own potential through a daily yoga practice, training, and workshops. Anna believes that the addition of yoga in her life awarded her with far greater flexibility, balance, strength, personal awareness, and an inner surrender.

     Anna received her Master's Degree in Counseling from Rivier University, an education that brings depth to her understanding of yoga philosophy. Her intensive study of Psychology combine with the knowledge of a strong yoga practice has provided a solid foundation for her commitment to classical yoga traditions. Anna’s passion is teaching a powerful, transformational yoga class. Honest work, at a level appropriate to each student, brings physical, emotional, and spiritual strength and flexibility. Anna is grateful and feels blessed every day to have discovered yoga and all its benefits. She feels privileged and excited to share her knowledge and solicitude with others. Her goal is to guide her students in the awakening of their own potential; to become strong in mind and body, to find peace and an inner surrender, to strive toward a balance of power and compassion both on and off the mat.

    Anna fell in love with yoga not only for muscular strength and flexibility… but because it brought a sense of inner strength and calm to her life. She studied to become a counselor to help others process and cope with their emotions but soon discovered that yoga has a great power to heal and could reach a far larger population. She remembers when her kids were younger, she was feeling stressed about work, house chores, studying and messy rooms… she began to raise her voice and express her frustrations toward her girls, they responded, “Mom, you need yoga!" They were sooooo right…Smart kids! Everyone needs YOGA!

     Anna feels blessed to be able to bring together an amazing, loving, caring, community under the roof of Breathe Yoga where together we all can become strong and compassionate in mind and body.

Manager, Yoga Teacher E-RYT 200 Yoga Works

Jade has explored movement her entire life. With a background as a classically trained dancer, Jade sought to deepen her connection to self and found yoga in the year 2000. It was love at first asana, and she hasn't looked back since. Over the years, Jade has expanded her practice to include Vinyasa flow, Anusara, and Hatha forms. Ever-striving to grow and nourish her practice, Jade has studied under the tutelage of renowned practitioners, such as Kathryn Budig, David Regelin, Renee LeBlanc, Krista Cahill, Marc St. Pierre, Karen Kenney and Caithlyn Visconte. Jade completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with YogaWorks in Boston,  considered the gold-standard in teacher training. With joy, Jade is thrilled to bring these skills to the Lakes Region. She offers Vinyasa flow based classes, which incorporate playfulness and dynamic sequencing to explore and challenge your practice while stimulating connection between mind and body.Jade lives in Gilmanton with her husband, two sons, and two yellow labs. When not on her mat, she can be found enjoying the outdoors with her family: skiing, running, and wakesurfing. Or working on DIY Projects with her husband Bobby



Upon retiring from a fast-paced and challenging career as a police detective, Susan was drawn to yoga to improve her health and reduce stress. Her experience with Multiple Sclerosis contributes to her sensitivity and skill teaching yoga to those of varying abilities.
Susan is a certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor with additional training in teaching meditation. Further, she has received advanced training in Yoga Therapy from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Susan has been teaching yoga and meditation on a full time basis since 2007. She has a particular skill in meeting students where they are, providing instruction which is gentle, moderate or strong. Equally comfortable in private lessons or large groups, Susan also teaches yoga via Skype.
In addition to her yoga commitments, Susan is engaged in yoga-related research. Her pilot study, evaluating the benefits of a Kripalu yoga program for police academy trainees is published in the International Journal of Yoga Therapy.


Donna came to love Pilates when discovering how the unique method progressively corrected her body after years of overuse. The Pilates method not only improved her quality of life but relieved her from many years of chronic back pain. After her doctor encouraged her to try Pilates, she tried some mat pilates classes and found her answer. In her 40’s, Donna started taking Pilates reformer classes which sparked her interest in becoming an instructor.
"It always amazes me how great I feel after every class! I can't get enough!"

After years of practice, progress, and compassion, she decided to become an instructor to help others find the same love of Pilates. Donna studies pilates through Balanced Body University at Boston Body Pilates in Belmont, MA and Move ME Pilates, Portland, ME. She is Comprehensively Certified through Balanced Body University.  Donna is also trained Balanced Body Barre.  CPR/AED certified through American Heart Asso.

Donna has a continuous desire to inspire clients to reach their fitness goals through pilates, and super excited to bring her extensive training, knowledge, and passion to Breathe Yoga. She believes that applying what you learn in the studio to your everyday life will completely transform your physical and mental well-being. Her goal is to help clients manage and prevent injuries, develop core strength, correct posture, and increase overall energy and self-esteem. Her approach is always positive, safe, challenging, and focused with a little bit of humor for good morals.



Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master

A Gypsy Soul: Tekla combines her experiences in the professional visual, audio and travel industries to create a magical space to learn and grow in unique ways. Classes and personal sessions are purposely sequenced to help guide those in need, back into energetic alignment and health.


Tekla is a Reiki Master, Meditation guide, Energy Medicine/Yoga Therapy Practitioner, and 200RYT Yoga Instructor. When she is not teaching group classes to the local community, she brings energy healing workshops to locations all over New England.  Tekla's YOurGA program has been demonstrated in schools, hospitals, corporations, small businesses, rehabilitation, recovery, and wellness centers.


Valuable information about self-healing, mindfulness, and understanding your energy mind-body, is sprinkled throughout her class experiences. Reiki and the universal elements of work in combination whenever you find yourself on an Energy Flow Yoga Experience.  If you feel the pull to reconnect to your true potential, her classes are suitable for All Levels!


Kelly is a Mind-Body Intuitive Coach and Consultant, speaker, writer, and yogi. She serves international clientele with her pioneering transformational healing work and classes. Rhonda discovered yoga in 2006 when trying to heal a hamstring injury that she was told she would have forever. Yoga did wonders! Rhonda personally was also magnetized to the spiritual elements of yoga and chose to dedicate herself to a teacher training immersion for 26 days (and a one year study) in 2008 with Ana Forrest. The strengthening, compassionate and healing focus of Forrest Yoga was a perfect fit for Rhonda. She believes sharing yoga is a tremendous privilege.


I was tricked into taking my first yoga class, if you can believe it, and have thanked my lucky stars ever since! Yoga is an amazing way to de-stress, get some time for yourself, as well as a great compliment to other fitness routines. I was certified in 2003 and have taken many continuing education courses to expand my knowledge and take in as much information as possible. I am so excited to be a part of the Breathe community!


RYT 200 Yoga Teacher

Dale has been active in athletics and coaching throughout his life. He has been a certified personal trainer, tri-athlete, tennis enthusiast, rock climber and has completed a marathon. After a severe athletic injury in 2009 he was striving to rehabilitate his leg so he could get back to his athletics. The only “exercise class” that would allow him in on crutches was a yoga class at an athletic club in Laconia. The teacher welcomed him and suggested he do any of the postures that felt good for his body and not to push himself too hard. From his first yoga experience he discovered there was something he loved about the physical postures of yoga yet realized there was so much more to yoga than the postures.

Dale has ten years of practice in many disciplines of yoga including Ashtanga, Kundalini, Kripalu, and Bikram style hot yoga. Dale often combines these disciplines in his classes.

He graduated 200 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training at Sharing Yoga in Concord, NH in 2016 studying under David Breen. Dale participates in various yoga workshops, trainings and an annual week-long yoga and meditation seminar at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health.

Dale enjoys practicing every day and sharing his practice with others. Dale will meet you where you are in your practice. His classes incorporate suggestions and modifications for the beginner but invites the more advanced student to find their own full expression of a posture. Dale strives to bring the eight limb path of yoga together in every class. Postures, yogic breathing, self-restraint, self- study, looking inward, concentration, meditation and relaxation

Melissa Wood

Melissa Wood completed her 200+ hour teacher training with Happy Love Yoga RYS at Bending Bodhi.  Originally from the northeast area of Philadelphia, PA, she studied biochemistry at Temple University, moved to NH in 2007 and has loved living in the seacoast area ever since!  Melissa began practicing yoga in 2001 and after being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and becoming a mom she finds that yoga brings a wonderful combination of physical and mental therapy to her daily life. Interested in teaching the benefits of daily practice to her daughter and practicing together, Melissa pursued the yoga and mindfulness for children program at ChildLight in Dover in 2017.  She has also taken Restorative Yoga – Yoga Nidra I and II Training with YogaNH. She has loved the experience of sharing the benefits of yoga to people of all ages.  Melissa encourages her students to continually look for the details, to stay lifelong learners, and practice over perfection. 

Ms. Megan

Ms. Megan has been working with children for thirteen years. She graduated from Plymouth State University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. During her career, she has been a preschool teacher in a Montessori school, worked with children with disabilities in a developmental preschool, and worked as a pre-kindergarten teacher. Although she is not a teacher anymore, she still brings her knowledge and skills with her in her current position as a Children’s Librarian. She enjoys introducing her love of literacy to the children that attend her programs at the library while incorporating yoga-inspired movements and mindfulness practice. She is thrilled to share her love of stories and yoga with all children. She currently lives in Barnstead with her two cats (Buddy and Max) and her one-year-old puppy, Harper.
